Fair Use & Overage Policy

This policy explains what each Pickets.ai plan includes per billing period, what happens when a workspace goes beyond its plan, and what does — and does not — count as usage. It supplements the Terms of Service; pricing in effect today is always shown on /pricing.

1. What's included per billing period

Every plan carries an included allowance for property-data lookups, dialer minutes, and text segments, plus a monthly grant of data credits and a number of team seats. These are soft limits — going over one doesn't interrupt anything, see §2.

2. How overage works

Once a plan's included allowance for a billing period is used up, each additional unit is paid automatically from the workspace's data-credit wallet — the same wallet used for skip trace and direct mail — at a fixed price:

• Property-data lookup — 3 credits
• Dialer minute — 1 credit
• Text segment — 1 credit
• Skip-trace hit — 2 credits (billed only on a successful match — see §3)
• DNC scrub — 2 credits per phone number

Credits are bought in packs from the billing page: 1,000 credits for $20, 5,000 credits for $80, or 10,000 credits for $140 — as low as $0.014 per credit on the largest pack. The wallet never goes negative: when it reaches zero, the action that would need more credits is declined until credits are added. There is no surprise invoice — nothing is billed beyond what is already in the wallet.

3. What counts as usage

Inbound and outbound dialer minutes both count, and inbound and outbound text segments both count. A text message over 160 characters (70 characters if it contains an emoji or other non-GSM character) is billed as several segments, same as any carrier. A property-data lookup counts only when Pickets.ai has to ask the data provider for it — results already available in Pickets.ai's shared property index are free and unlimited. Skip traces are charged only per successful match; a miss is never charged.

4. Nothing is charged without your action

Pickets.ai only calls paid data or telephony providers in response to actions you or your team take — a search, a dial, a text, a skip trace — or automations you explicitly turned on, such as smart plans, sequences, scheduled market scans, or daily content generation. Nothing runs, and nothing is billed, on its own.

5. Resets, rollover, and expiration

Included allowances reset at the start of each billing period. Unused included amounts do not roll over to the next period. Purchased data credits never expire and carry over indefinitely until spent.

6. Acceptable use

Included allowances and purchased credits are for using Pickets.ai's own product features. Reselling data obtained through the platform, bulk scraping, or automated access beyond the product's built-in features is not permitted and may lead to suspension, consistent with the acceptable-use terms in the Terms of Service.

7. Changes to this policy

We will announce material changes to this policy — including changes to included allowances or overage prices — at least 30 days before they take effect. The prices and allowances currently in effect are always shown on /pricing. Questions can be sent to legal@pickets.ai.

This policy is part of the agreement between you and Pickets Technology LLC.
